What Is It?

​Exodus 16:11-12
Then the Lord said to Moses, "I have heard the Israelites' complaints.  Now tell them, 'In the evening you will have meat to eat, and in the morning you will have all the bread you want.  Then you will know that I am the Lord your God.'"

​This Sunday we will be talking about God's provision for the Hebrew people as they wandered in the wilderness following the Exodus event.  The bread from heaven called "manna," along with quail, provided sustenance for the people.  "Manna" translates to "What is it?"  As we consider Jesus as the bread from heaven which sustains us, it seems appropriate to consider the question "What is it... that God is doing among us?"  Join us for music, scripture, reflection, and the celebration of Holy Communion Sunday morning.
