what about the leftovers

John 6:12-13 -- After everyone was full, Jesus told his disciples, “Now gather the leftovers, so that nothing is wasted.” So they picked up the pieces and filled twelve baskets with scraps left by the people who had eaten from the five barley loaves.

​This Sunday our series on Vacation Bible School food stories continues with John 6:1-15 -- the Feeding of the 5000+.  This well-known miracle story demonstrates Jesus' care and concern for the people through the outpouring of his grace.  The 5000+ were fed until they were full.  And then 12 baskets of leftovers were gathered up.  Have you ever wondered about the leftovers?  We'll consider the leftovers Sunday morning.  See you in person or online at 9:30!
