Harvest season brings with it thoughts of bounty, thanksgiving, gratitude. This Sunday's Gospel reading reminds us of the importance of praising God and the joy we experience as Christians when we give thanks. "Thank you" is a simple expression, but one which carries so much weight in our daily lives, whether we are talking to God or our spouse or a stranger.
