We begin a new worship series this Sunday, Aug. 20 called CONNECT with a focus on how we are called to follow Christ alongside others across the global United Methodist connection.  The next five weeks will have us exploring how our prayers, presence, gifts, service and witness CONNECT us more deeply to God and to others as we seek to be Uniquely United Methodist.

In the United Methodist tradition, the heart of the matter is always a matter of the heart. For that reason, it’s appropriate that in the membership vows of The United Methodist Church, the first practice to which we commit ourselves is PRAYER. This week in worship, we will look to scripture’s teachings about prayer and how prayer can CONNECT us more deeply to God and others.
