This Sunday is part 2 of "What do you want me to do for you?" Last Sunday two of Jesus' disciples, James and John, asked Jesus to do them "a favor," asking to sit in the places of honor at Jesus' right and left hands. Their presumptuousness leads Jesus to provide a lesson on service. This week our attention turns to Bartimaeus, a blind person begging by the road as Jesus passes by. He cries out for Jesus to have mercy upon him. When Jesus asks, "What do you want me to do for you?" he replies, immediately, that he wants to see. Join us Sunday morning to see what happens and to reflect upon what we want and need Jesus to do for us.
