​This Sunday we celebrate Jesus' Ascension to heaven 40 days after his Resurrection. One preacher writes, "All I can figure is that this story gets Jesus back home where he belongs, with his Father in heaven."  In addition to that, Jesus takes his leave from his disciples, but not without promises for the future. It is those promises, with a tie in to mothering qualities that we'll explore this Sunday during worship. Please join us in person or online.
