Luke 11:9-10 NLT : “And so I tell you, keep on asking, and you will receive what you ask for. Keep on seeking, and you will find. Keep on knocking, and the door will be opened to you. 10 For everyone who asks, receives. Everyone who seeks, finds. And to everyone who knocks, the door will be opened."

Many people struggle with prayer. Maybe not so much when you are in private prayer, but to pray out loud where you might be heard. Many say, I don't know what to say, I don't know what to pray. How can I pray without sounding selfish? Prayer is not hard, not any harder than sitting down with someone you know well and having a conversation. But then you might ask, am I praying for what I need to be praying for or am I praying just for what I want.
