Fan the Flames

This is why I remind you to fan into flames the spiritual gift God gave you when I laid my hands on you.  For God has not given us a spirit of fear and timidity, but of power, love, and self-discipline.

​The Apostle Paul wrote many letters of encouragement to the churches he started and to special friends he mentored, which included a young man named Timothy.  This Sunday we'll focus on those words of encouragement and how they apply to us in today's world.  As Paul writes, "For God has not given us a spirit of fear and timidity, but of power, love, and self-discipline."  We are  encouraged and reminded to "fan into flames" the gifts we have been given.  Join us for worship this week, in person at 9:30 AM on Sunday, or ANYTIME online!
